Recording Andrew Imbrie's Soliloquy

After 30 performances, and hundreds of hours of study and practice, Janet felt ready this year to record Andrew Imbrie's Soliloquy for Solo Violin, a work written for her in 1998 (see Andrew Imbrie Soliloquy and Notes by Andrew Imbrie ). The recording of this important work for solo violin was made on 19 and 20 May 2011 at the Fraser Recording Studio of WGBH, Brighton, MA. James Donahue was the master recording engineer and Sam Rechtoris the supportive and insightful producer.
